This Week's CT Reveal!

Juliana, Sus and Diane keep fanning the flames of inspiration in this week's reveal.  I know we're all busy with all the last minute details that come with the joys of Christmas, but I recommend you take a few moments just for you and spend it replenishing your inspirational wells.  You know you're going to need it to scrap all of those fantastic family pictures you'll collect over the next few days!

Juliana uses American Crafts' 'Letterbox' line to show how important it is for YOU to step in front of the camera.  You're the historian, but you're also an incredible part of the actual story.

'All Things Considered' by Juliana

Sus takes Doodlebug's 'Christmas Candy' line to help create this project!  It's a beautiful Christmas tree centerpiece that makes a great gift:

Getting The Most Out Of Your Digi Kits

This week, the Digital Creative Team helps inspire you to squeeze a little bit more out of the digital kit!  The challenge was to take an old kit or even one that just hasn't been used and create not one, but TWO layouts!  Here's a sample of what they came up with:

'Thanksgiving 2009' by Ronny (Smiley-Scrap8)

Janell takes the 'Twilight' kit by Silvia Romeo in two completely different directions.  The first is a dreamy baby girl layout.  The second is an invitation to a New Year's event.

'Silver Alpha' by Lindsay Jane Designs

View all of the creative ideas for using one kit for more than one layout or featured theme in this week's Creative Team Digi Reveal!  All featured kits are available in our Digital Scrapbook Shoppe

Great job, team!

Our Digi CT Tells Us What's On Their Christmas List

Are you making your list and checking it twice?  Our Digital Creative Team shares some of the 'items' on their wish list with us!

Kristianne (MamaK321) asks for something I wish for every day!  More TIME!  Balancing a family and work and normal day to day affairs can be a struggle.  Wouldn't it be nice if you could roll over those idle moments and cash them in when you're having one of  'those' days?

Sara (Keling) has something that's popular on most wish lists this year!  Finding that in demand item can be a challenge, but it's an amazing feeling when you're able to find a great deal on it, buy it and watch those little eyes widen in amazement on Christmas morning.  It definitely makes the 'hunt' worth while.

So what's on your Christmas list this year?  What is your family wanting more than anything?  Most lists will have the hottest toy or the latest in designer styles, but I have a feeling this year, even more than ever, there will be more meaningful items on those lists like health, love, and family togetherness.  After all, isn't that what the season is really all about?

View our Digi Creative Team's wishlist HERE!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Welcome HappayScrappay!

Rachel Theall - Guest Paper CT Member

Welcome to ACOT's Guest Paper Creative Team Member for the month of December! Meet Rachel - a/k/a 'happayscrappay' on our Message Board.  Rachel is a Chemistry Professor.  She takes time on a daily basis to delve into her scrapbooking hobby.  By taking a little time every day, Rachel keeps on top of her project goals and carves moments in time just for her.

Interview exerpts:

Favorite television show?
Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a Survivor Fan. I don’t miss an episode, I’ve met Survivor contestants and I filled out the application to be on the show 3 times but never sent it in. I can do without all other television but Survivor. A close runner-up is So You Think You Can Dance because no, I can’t dance. I also love Mike Rowe and his dirty, dirty jobs.

Favorite movie? I don’t know if I have a favorite but I think Men in Black is fun, Pride and Prejudice is romantic, and Kung Fu Panda never gets old. I love movies that make me laugh and I always fall for potty humor so Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler will always be welcome in my scrapping room.

What's your favorite scrapping tool to use when scrapbooking? I should say my Silhouette since it’s the most expensive but in reality it’s just my finger knife (Fiskars).
