October 2016 Guest Designer Craft Challenges

 

We want to give a BIG WELCOME to Krystle (pictured left w/son Nathan).

She's our October 2016 Guest Designer and she's created some amazing layouts to inspire (see below) and has posted three challenges on our Message Board to get you in the paper crafting mood!

Layout: "Your Best Expressions" - Challenge #1 Color

Krystle says, "My first guest designer challenge is a color challenge. Use only black, white and gold on your layout. I was inspired by My Mind's Eye's "Yes, Please" line, which is completely black, white and gold."

Layout: "Every Little Bit" - Challenge #2 Baby Spotlight

Krystle says,"I absolutely love creating layouts of my little one! This month, I am challenging you to create a layout that features picture(s) of a baby (any person who is less than 2 years old counts).

Layout: "Sweet Dreams" - Challenge #3 Journaling

Krystle says, "My third challenge is for you to use extensive journaling on your layout (at least two sentences). I don't typically do this, but I am trying to get better at it so that I remember all of the little everyday details!"

Welcome Melissa - August Guest Designer!

Favorite Colors:  Pinks/Tiffany blues

Guilty pleasure:  Pressing the "new" products button at ACOT each day!  And Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolate bites.  I can just buy just one and that's a good thing since they're small :)

BIO:  I'm married to my DH for 20 years and have two teen girls, 16 and 17, two dogs, two guinea pigs and a hamster named Carlos that keep me happy and busy.  

I scrap when I can and wish it were more often!  Love it when I can do a marathon of a couple of days, but that rarely happens.  I used to design for Anna Griffin and Hewlett Packard and some others places for several years, but gave it all up and found that I want to scrap for me.  I enjoy trying a little bit of everything in scrapping and enjoy participating on the message board with the Cherries.

My perfect vacation spot always includes a beach. I find it so relaxing and comforting, and a place I can reflect and recharge my inner self. I also love reliving the special moments later by scrapping about them.

Welcome Marielle - March 2013 Guest Designer!

Favorite Color:  Turquoise/Aqua

I mostly create:  Layouts of my boys

Guilty pleasure:  Vanilla Latte from Starbucks, I love candy ! (a lot) , watching  NCIS (Mark Harmon is yummy! ) and The Big Bang Theory ( I’m kind of a geek too!!)

BIO:  I am a French speaking Canadian (also fluent in English), I live on the east coast in New Brunswick with my hubby of 11 years and our sons Gabriel (10) and Félix (8). I work part time as a nurse in an out patient clinic ( I mostly assist in minor surgeries).

I have been a scrapbooker since 2002 and totally love it!  I have had the pleasure of being a member of a few design teams such as Pebbles Inc, Creative Memories, Imaginisce and Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker.

Random details: I have a green belt in Taekwondo!
