BIO: I am excited to be this month's ACOT guest designer! I have loved being a part of this dynamic community over the years and watching how this industry and my personal scrapbooking style have grown.

I am a long-time scrapper, having begu to scrap in 1998. Now my hobby has become an obsession! For me, scrapbooking is therapeutic and I enjoy preserving memories in such a beautiful way.

What inspires me to create: New Products, Pinterest, Challenges and Sketches.

Most readers don't know this about me: I don't know how to swim. I am scared of the water.

Bio: My most favorite thing to do is spending time in my craft room. 

I started scrapbooking in 2008. I was a stampin-up dealer from 2003 to 2006. I Loved making cards. I still love making them but Love scrapbooking more. My favorite subjects to scrapbook are my grandkids, furbabies and my garden.

The busy months of December and January are finally behind us and it's time to get back to our Guest Designer Spotlight!

Her name is Chris (screenname EMMAPAIGE). She's freshly retired which leaves her a bit more time to create and scrapbook every day!

A little bit about Chris: "My favorite subjects are my five grandchildren, my children and my husband (and occasionally me). We do not have any pets (we had three dogs at one point) but all four of our children have one or multiple dogs."

"My Favorite Place":

Retirement definitely has its perks and getting to stay in bed a little longer is one of them! Chris journals, "Now I can stay in our new Tempur-Pedic bed a little longer, watch som eTV and catch up with the world on my iPad..."

My craft supply 'must have': watercolors...good ones

What inspires me to create: new products or "rediscovering" older products...product definitely drives my layouts

Most readers don’t know this about me: I HATE bananas...can't stand them AT ALL!

BIO: Since this was the first gallery I ever uploaded a layout to...and since this is the first scrappy community I ever belonged to, I feel like you all know me quite well. So I am going to start this bio by saying how very much I appreciate all of you. You have supported and encouraged me and are the group I think of as my "tribe" Now the facts...I am a 37 year old wife and mother to two amazing boys and 2 fur babies. I have been married ....18 years this coming week...woohoo! I have been scrapping for 15 years. I am currently on 5..no, 6... design teams and have my own You Tube channel with lots of videos to enjoy and 2 video series currently ongoing.

I am so happy to be designing again here..my scrappy home..and we are going to have a ton of fun!

Krystle says, "My first guest designer challenge is a color challenge. Use only black, white and gold on your layout. I was inspired by My Mind's Eye's "Yes, Please" line, which is completely black, white and gold."

Krystle says,"I absolutely love creating layouts of my little one! This month, I am challenging you to create a layout that features picture(s) of a baby (any person who is less than 2 years old counts).

Krystle says, "My third challenge is for you to use extensive journaling on your layout (at least two sentences). I don't typically do this, but I am trying to get better at it so that I remember all of the little everyday details!"

Help Us Welcome Deanna - Our April 2016 Guest Designer!

First name: Deanna

Favorite Color: Shades of Teal because it reminds me of the ocean.

My craft supply 'must have': Lately, my 'must have' items are diecuts. I love the packages of matching diecuts which go along with the theme of the line.

I mostly create: 12x12 layouts for my grandkids and also of our vacations. We love traveling and I love reliving the moments by scrapping the photos.

Guilty pleasure: Chocolate! I don't have it very often these days, but I enjoy it when I do.

BIO: I married my high school sweetheart and we'll be celebrating 38 years in July. We have 3 adult kids and 9 adorable grandkids from 1 to 15 years old. They are just the light of my life and I adore scrapping about them.
