Gathering Around The Table

At least once a month here at ACherryOnTop.com we like to get as many of us as possible together for a fun activity, to eat or just to hang out!  There's something special about doing other things besides working with your co-workers!

We were able to grab some of our team a few days ago and we headed out to lunch at a local Irish restaurant.  Gathering around a table together makes it easier to catch up on all those fun moments in life!  For instance, Deb and Cathy are both proud military moms.  Their boys are off saving the world! Austin just finished college and Michelle just rejoined our ACOT family!

In the months ahead, we're going to let you get to know a bit more about our team here!  We'll also post more pics of our groovy outings.  In the meantime, check out our About Us page at ACherryOnTop.com.

CHA Winter 2014 Re-Cap

Craft and Hobby Conference/Tradeshow 2014: Anaheim, CA

CHA Winter 2014 is officially in the books!  New product purchased, meetings with Manufacturers keps and MILES walked!  What a blast.  Warning - this post is image heavy so be patient if you're browsing on your smartphone!

The energy at the show was full of expectation and creativity!  We love that feeling.  Maybe it was because this is the time so many companies begin to focus on Spring and Summer themes.  It's a nice break from the cold Winter!

As always, one of my favorite reasons to attend the show is to meet designers face to face.  Email and phone calls just cannot replace real connections!

The paper crafting product releases did not disappoint!  We're excited to see all of the items.  Some goodies are already beginning to arrive in the A Cherry On Top shop!

I'm thrilled to be able to do what I do.  It's great to touch the new product and renew old and create new friends!  I even got to meet a few ACOT customers!  How great is that?

CHA - Winter 2013 Wrap-Up!

We're Back From CHA!

For those not familiar with what CHA is - here's a little info:

'CHA' is an acronym for Craft and Hobby Association.  In general, the CHA hosts a conference and trade show twice each year.  The Winter 2013 conference took place in California - USA making the city of Anaheim 'the happiest place on earth' for more than one reason!

Manufacturers, retailers and various media gurus from all over the globe flock together to share new, soon-to-be-released products, inspiring ideas and tons of resources.  We ♥ CHA!

One of the highlights of the show has to be touching base with those friends we normally only visit with by phone or email.  Cynthia from Doodlebug Design, Inc. always has a smile and a hug ready!  She's incredible and she makes CHA that much more special!  

I wish I had time to take snap shots of all of the designers and manufacturers, but we were busy buying, buying, buying!
