Happy 2011! What are your New Year's resolutions this year? We here at ACOT hope they include lots of scrapping and chatting with your fellow Cherries! As we celebrate another year passing it's nice to reflect on why we do this hobby: at least in part because we want to preserve our memories. So sit back with your flute of bubbly and reminisce about the last 365 days... and then scrap them!
Remember:
- only one LO per challenge will enter you into the points drawing

Altered Object Challenge - By JulesinParadise (Jules)
Paper or Hybrid Scrapbooking
This month's altered object challenge is paper plates. Use a paper plate or more to create an embellishment for a card, a layout or on another altered object.
Hint: most paper plates have a coating on one side that resists things like inks, paints and mists. I turned the plates over and love how the colors are absorbed into the plates.

Color Challenge - by Art_Teacher (Laura)
Paper or Digital Scrapbooking
January in Ohio is gray, gray, gray. Often the color is considered drab or boring, but it is a very versatile neutral, from soft, blue-gray to dove gray to cozy brown-gray. It pairs well with a variety of colors, so your challenge this month is to use any shade of gray paired with another color. The layout must be at least 50% gray.
