Local Warehouse Sale Fun!

First in line to shop our Warehouse Sale!

Doors opened at 10am on Saturday. We were still doing last minute mark-downs on products when the early shoppers started lining up outside!

We emailed local customers about the sale and asked for RSVP's. I received one response asking if we were ready for the early lines and the crowds...

Uhm...no.

A HUGE thank you to all of you who came out to visit us! Your patience at check-out was truly amazing! You shared shopping bags, boxes and whatever else we could find to carry items! We heard a lot of you begin to talk while in line (eating and drinking) 'meeting' long time Message Board chatters face to face.

Customers came from Ohio, Illinois and all over Michigan. Incredible! Kristin and Cathy gave tours of the warehouse. We were asked many times if/when we'll open up the warehouse for another sale. I have a feeling we'll be doing it again soon!

Next time--the lines will be shorter and move a lot faster! Promise!

How did you find A Cherry on Top?

I needed specific stickers for a page I was doing from our Vegas trip and the LSS didn't have anything close. So I hit the internet, and got sucked into the shop here!

How long have you been a part of the ACOT community?

I started posting on the message board Sept 2005 for the fall crop. I was welcomed by a lot of people and stuck around after the crop to see what it was all about ( I was a message board virgin ). Went missing for awhile because life got really hectic, came back in 2007, and have been here ever since!

What inspires you?

I have found that my inspiration changes daily. Sometimes I am inspired by textures, sometimes by colors. Sometimes it is by an event or a feeling. I have a notebook that I fill with ideas-color combos, patterns, ads that would make good LOs, etc. When I get stumped (or my mojo goes on a long vacation without me...), I flip through my book or the gallery here.
