We ♥ the month of July! It seems to be a very busy time for most. We just celebrated Independence Day here in the States which means a short work week, lots of barbecue and festive fireworks! Here's a snap shot I took of one of our local pyrotechnic extravaganzas:
Yes! I adore fireworks. Not sure why explosions get me all giddy, but I love it! However, that's only one reason I love July. Another reason? The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) hosts the Summer conference in Chicago! New vendors, new meet-n-greets, new paper crafting GOODIES!
It's like Christmas in July!
You'll begin seeing 'sneak peeks' from scrapbooking and paper crafting manufacturers all over cyber land. We'll be posting some of those on our website and Message Board, but we also want to hear from you. Tell us what you think will be the 'it thing' during the upcoming seasons and which lines and manufacturers you're excited about!
We can't wait to get there and we can't wait to hear about your must-have lists! Believe me, we'll be taking notes and keeping an eye out for your favorites. Comment here or on our facebook page.
Hmm...I wonder if there will be any giveaways involved??? How about now through the end of CHA we'll select random winners from comments here on our blog, on our facebook page, or if we 'spot' you saying anything amazing about A Cherry On Top online. I once worked part-time for a store that sold jewelry parts that you could put together and make your own jewelry. It was a lot of fun, but our manager had a phone conference where the big boss said that our company was suffering, and the next big thing would be scrapbooking. I couldn't even imagine what he was talking about!
Now, even though a lot of retail stores have gone out of business, especially in the Dallas area, I depend on the online stores to get the latest things and I get adhesives and basic stuff locally in craft stores. I hope this hobby stays hot forever!

I've been dying over the sneaks! Loving what I'm seeing from Glitz, Pink Paislee, and American Crafts, Studio Calico and Simple Stories...that's a lot of people I love!
I HAVE to have the new Graphic 45 Nutcracker collection AND the Bo Bunny Mistltoe!!!!
Lots of Christmas stuff. Loving all the simple stories stuff. Also love all the chevron stuff out there.

what is not on my list that keeps getting longer and longer. Simple Stories, Echo Park, Pink Paislee, Heidi Swapp, Teresa Collins, and Graphic 45. Then the cherry on top is lots and lots of flowers and other embellishments

This is really going to be one long wish list I can feel it now.....all I am going to say is Love it, Love it, Have to have it Love it......LOL...
There are SO many FABULOUS products coming out at CHA... I just can't wait!!! My wish list just keeps growing!!!
I LOVE all things bo bunny!
So far I had a sneak peak at two of the BG lines. OMG, they are gorgous. I will be getting them for sure. I have also seen the new BoBunny collections and the flowers and ribbon/lace are going to be a big hit. Also, loving those 6x6 paper pads for the double dot papers. My wishlist is going to be the biggest it has ever been. I knew there was a reason that I was hoarding my gc's for so long. Can't wait for ACOT to get all these new goodies in the shoppe.
Bo Bunny has always been one of my absolute favorites! I love the sneak peeks you do each time you go to CHA. It makes me **need** so much! Thanks for being a great place ACOT!

I have been drooling all over the sneak peeks I have been seeing for CHA. The colors have been amazing.

Fancy Pants and Webster's Pages look amazing, Prima has so many new beautiful collections it makes your head spin and just saw the Pink Paislee sneaks and I know I will have to get the entire Portfolio line. I love shopping online since it's so much easier to view everything at leisure... What kills me is the shipping to Canada!
I'm going to run out of paper before my list ends, but then I will have no more money to buy paper or anything else, but i will be in paper heaven

Basic Grey is Killing me ...gonna have to have it all. Then, when I get a good look at the whole reveal, I'm going to have to start selling pencils in a cup on the courthouse steps to pay for it all !
The sneaks are too much this year. I wonder how long until we can get them in the stores... I think Pink Paislee and Bo Bunny are great and the new Webster's Pages rocks. Have you seen their bookmarks?
I agree with the other comments!!!! The sneaks are amazing this year..... There hasn't been anything I don't like!!!! There are usually things that just aren't my style , but this summer is justWOW!!!!!

Am loving the sneaks! I have been seeing arrow, chevrons and hexagons are exploding! My bank even has hexagons as part of its decor. I am liking Doodlebug Design, some Webster's Pages, Basic Grey and another company...shoot, name escapes me now, but has a great Fall line of papers.
Whenever I spot any paper stickers or embellishments that remind me of the time when I was growing up I am a sucker for them! I simply have to have them! May not use any for quite a while but it is all about the memories and those types of things evoke so many good ones!
I am loving the Bo Bunny and Echo Park!! Both the Halloween and Christmas sets. Love, love, love!!

I do all my on-line orders from ACOT. They have the best selection and always have the newest items from all the manufacturers. Loving all the CHA stuff from everybody. Can't wait for Clint (ACOT) to post on the MB when they come in.

I am really excited about Pink Paislees new mists and their Artisan line. I love that Echo Park expanded on their For the Record collection. MME has done it again with their variety and sheer volume of fun embellishments. Basic Grey always makes me happy! Fancy Pants is making me drool and Websters Pages is simply amazing. The Teresa Collins, want it all!
I absolutely Love A Cherry On Top! NO matter how long I am away from scrapbooking, I know I can always come to the website and be up to date and get inspiration galore! I'm always amazed of how many new products are created and can't believe their is so much diversity to all of it!!! In LOVE with the new products and my wishlist will always be overflowing!!

Loving the sneak peeks and "insider" info! So much fun new stuff, but I think the most tempting things I've seen so far are the Bo Bunny flowers and trims. I'd better start saving up for those!
